Thanks for the Memories: Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt Retire as Astros

Saturday, April 5, 2014 was a special day at Minute Maid Park. Two of the most beloved and successful baseball players in the city's history were honored with a one-day contract in order to retire as Houston Astros. Lance Berkman and Roy Oswalt returned to Houston for a special pre-game ceremony that officially ended their major league careers. The near capacity crowd cheered loudly as Milo Hamilton presented them with their framed jerseys, Stetson cowboy hats and hand-made rocking chairs.
