The 2nd Annual Houston Whiskey Social Goes Down Smooth

The 2nd annual Houston Whiskey Social on May 20 provided select single barrel offerings, tastings of whiskies from around the world, and fine food for guests at the HSR Event Center. This year featured a private barrel of bourbon bottled specifically and exclusively for the event, a first in Texas history. Special guests included Jonathan Sandys, great grandson of Sir Winston Churchill; David Allardice, Glenfiddich brand ambassador; Jennifer Farrell, Tullamore Dew brand amassador; Adam Harris, Bour-Bon Vivant and American whiskey ambassador for Beam Suntory; and Michael Herklots, blogger, Sommelier, cigar aficionado and quite possibly the face of Nat Sherman Cigars.
