The University of Houston played their first game as a member of the Big 12 conference faced the UTSA Roadrunners for their home opener at TDECU Stadium Saturday night. UH quarterback Donovan Smith threw for two touchdowns in his debut. The Coogs won by a score of 17-14. Their next match up is with crosstown rivals, Rice Owls for the Bayou Bucket.
