Local nonprofit Undies for Everyone is stepping up to the plate, and they'll be distributing 50,000 pairs of underwear to 14,000 students during the the Mayor's Back 2 School Fest on August 12, 2017.
Dessert Gallery Bakery & Cafe (3600 Kirby at Richmond) also is helping the cause by selling undies-themed cookies, as well as back-to-school cookies, with proceeds benefiting Undies for Everyone. This special runs through the month of August.
