We hate to break it to you, but fluorescent lights aren't effective tanners. So take a break today and get some real sunshine at Fresh Air Friday: Picnic on the Plaza. This lunchtime treat, sponsored by the Houston-Galveston Area Council, features free food from downtown restaurants, prize giveaways and the rockin' sounds of Houston's own Ezra Charles and the Works. Note: We can't guarantee the air will be fresh (this is Houston), but stop by anyway.
