There’s nothing in the world better than a day at the ballpark, eating a hot dog, grabbing a cold drink, snacking on peanuts. There’s the smell of the grass and the sound of a pitched ball smashing against the bat. Nothing in the world is better, except one thing — a day at the ballpark booing the St. Louis Cardinals. Ah, the Cardinals, the defending World Series champions, the team of Albert Pujols and Tony La Russa. Who among us can forgive them for 2004? The Cardinals not only invite booing, they demand it. The birdies from St. Louis will be in town for a three-day series against the Astros. So, head on out to Minute Maid Park and take in the atmosphere, the hot dogs, the peanuts — and all that sweet booing.
