Holly Golightly, Annie Hall, even Ferris Bueller: Fashion icons are often born on the big screen. Just ask Deborah Nadoolman Landis, who’ll sign copies of her book Dressed: A Century of Hollywood Costume Design during today’s Artful Thursday. Landis is an expert in the field of costumes’ cultural clout; she designed the looks for Animal House, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Coming to America. 6:30 p.m. Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Brown Auditorium, 1001 Bissonnet.
