Most musicians who perform at the level of Chiara String Quartetprefer the sanctity of the concert halls, but this foursome is spending some of its time in Houston in “Chamber Music in Any Chamber” concerts. Their Houston mini-tour starts Saturday at the AvantGarden, 411 Westheimer. It continues Sunday with a family concert at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. On Monday, you can see them in an open rehearsal at The Menil Collection. And on Tuesday, the Quartet performs a world premiere of “String Quintet: Thoughts Fly” during its most formal concert of the week, also at The Menil Collection. For information on each of these performances, call 713-524-5050 or visit www.dacamera.com.
