"Emily Sloan: NAP (Napping Affects Performance)"

Jump into a cuddle puddle, you never know what you'll find.

Expand your definition of art at the "Emily Sloan: NAP (Napping Affects Performance)" installation currently at the Art League Houston. Anytime during the exhibition's run, you can drop by for a nap (cots, pillows, blankets and other comfort items will be provided) or you can participate in any of a series of group events during which there will be "cuddle puddles," bedtime stories and even the singing of lullabies. During the opening reception, mezzo-soprano Kisa Parker will sing Brahms's "Lullaby" to get everyone in the mood. Opening reception 6 to 9 p.m. May 14. Regular viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. Through June 15. 1953 Montrose. For information, call 713-523-9530 or visit www.artleaguehouston.org.
