Proud dog owners will show off their canines' talents during this weekend's DockDogs. Pooches of every size and stripe will compete by leaping off a deck and into a pool of water. The dog that goes the highest or the farthest wins. There are pro, semi-pro and amateur heats, and local canines are welcome. 9 a.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Discovery Green, 1500 McKinney.
