A man who drove himself to a recently closed hospital after being stabbed in the neck died Sunday morning, police say.
Luis Rodriguez Espinoza, 35, of Cypress, drove himself to the Spring Branch Medical Center about 8:30 a.m. Sunday, police said.
“Officers responded to the above location, the recently closed Spring Branch Medical Center, on reports a man drove there and was seeking assistance for a stab wound to his neck. The victim got out of his vehicle and lost consciousness,” HPD says. “He was then transported to the hospital where he later died.”
EMTs took Espinoza to Ben Taub General Hospital.
