The fourth annual CaribFest is bringing the sights and sounds of the islands to Houston (without the hassle of going through customs). The daylong family event features a parade with steel bands and floats of masqueraders in elaborate costumes. A full lineup of vendors will offer up Caribbean cuisine, and a special KidZone will keep the little ones happy with face painting and a moonwalk. The evening culminates in a concert by bands from as close as Louisiana and as far away as Trinidad. So don’t worry, get irie.
