A 43-year-old woman was shot dead by a 67-year-old man who then killed himself, police say.
Houston police went to the Mainridge Apartments in the 2600 block of Westridge 12:45 p.m. Friday after residents complained of a foul odor.
After forcing their way into the apartment they discovered the two bodies.
Police say George Tyler Hudson shot Edwina Foster several times, killing her, and then shot himself.
