The unforgettable seafood ravioli ($17.95) at Crapitto’s Cucina Italiana (2400 Mid Lane, 713-961-1161) combine delicate, homemade egg pasta, cooked al dente, with what Italians call “fruit of the sea.” Small, oval-shaped pillows are stuffed with shrimp and chunky pieces of lobster bound together by cheese. A spicy rosa sauce (your basic marinara mixed with cream) adds sparkle to this already rich dish. Three jumbo Gulf shrimp come on top, and ample portions of crusty Italian bread are available for sopping up the extra sauce.
