Parrilla Mixta Where to get it: Sal Y Pimienta, 818 Town & Country

This South American doesn’t mess around when it comes to its parilla (grill) platters. The Parilla “Sal y Pimienta” comes absolutely stacked with inside skirt, flank steak, lamb chops, short ribs, chicken breast, Argentinean Sausage, sweet bread and blood sausage. It’s $72 for two, but it can easily feed a couple more if you add on a few plates.

The Quadruple Heart Clogger Where to get it: Hubcap Grill, multiple locations

You’ll likely need a fork and knife to get through this heart attack on a bun ($8.49) Stuffed with Hubcap’s plump and fresh ground beef patty, a split and grilled weiner, bacon, chili and cheese, the delicious monstrosity is like a hybrid between a chili dog and a bacon cheese burger. It will probably send you to the hospital if you eat it on a regular basis…but indulging every now and then is okay, right?

Beef Ribs Where to get them: Killen’s Barbecue

Each cut of Killen’s almighty beef ribs come in at around a hefty two pounds. Kissed simply with salt and pepper and smoked until a gorgeous, charred crust forms atop the juicy, meaty interior โ€” the Flinstone-sized ribs ($22/pound) are best for sharing.

Carnissima Pizza Where to get it: Coppa Osteria, 5210 Morningside

Though it’s a fake word, “carnissima” roughly translates to “most meaty” for a reason. Five โ€” yes five โ€” different kinds of Italian meats get piled atop this 900-degree-fired pie, beautifully blistered pie ($19). There’s spicy crumbled sausage, prosciutto, cured coppa, salumi toscano, and finally, pepperoni. Oh, and a parmesan cream sauce and scamorza for good measure.

Parpadelle Bolognese Where to get it: Ciao Bello, 5161 San Felipe

A few heavy-handed ladles of incredibly meaty, rich and luscious Bolognese โ€” a classic Italian sauce loaded with beef and a hint of tomato โ€” make the perfect topping for Ciao Bello’s delicate, handmade parpadelle pasta. More buttery and beefy then tomato-y, the dish ($19) is a meat-lover’s dream.
