Teacher Appreciation Week runs Monday, May 4 through Friday, May 8 and Houston restaurants are showing up with everything from free kolaches and discounted margaritas to prix fixe lunches, pizza deals and even free burritos. Brennan’s is honoring educators during Teacher Appreciation Week with a $38 three-course prix fixe lunch menu. The special is available for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with reservations encouraged.

Chipotle is giving away up to $2 million in free burritos to teachers and healthcare workers as part of Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week. Now through May 12, eligible educators can enter online for a chance to receive a free entrée e-gift card, with winners selected and verified through ID.me. The offer includes burritos, bowls, tacos, salads or quesadillas and aims to recognize up to 200,000 total recipients.
Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime, multiple locations
Crawfish Cafe and Pho Prime are celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week and Nurse Appreciation Week with 20 percent off for teachers from May 4 through May 8 and 20 percent off for nurses from May 6 through May 12 with a valid ID at all locations. The deal covers Viet-Cajun crawfish boils, pho, vermicelli bowls, bánh mì and more.
