Mavis Hollister isnยt going to get any Wife of the Year awards in British farce The Murder Room. For one thing, sheยs having an affair. For another, she and her lover are plotting to kill her rich husband. They might have succeeded, but they canยt be sure because they canยt find the body. Mavisยs loopy stepdaughter and nosy maid keep interrupting her, but, lucky her, the local officials seem to be a bunch of bumblers so they havenยt caught on. Wherever he is, weยre pretty sure Mavisยs husband isnยt laughing. Thanks to the scriptยs fast-paced, razor-sharp humor, however, everyone else is. 8:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Through March 28.
