Even if you haven’t seen his stand-up act on Loco Comedy Jam and Comedy Central, you’ve heard his voice in Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius (as Sheen) and in Happy Feet (as Rinaldo). Much of comedian Jeff Garcia‘s humor is improv. He’s famous for taking on his audiences. “Where you work at?” he asked a man at one show. “You’re a policeman? Fuck you!…Cops suck, dude. They pull you over; they have their sunglasses on. ‘Can you take your sunglasses off?’ What the fuck, you have them on? We gotta take off ours? Is that your lady, right there?” He pointed to the woman with the cop. “How long you been together? Ever since you pulled her over? And where do you work at?” he asked the woman. “La Opinión? The Mexican [newspaper]? That’s where they start every story with, ‘You know what I heard?’”

Catch Garcia during his four-night stay at the Improv — just don’t sit in the front row unless you want to become part of the act. 7620 Katy Freeway. For a schedule and information, call 713-333-8800 or visit www.improv2.com. $15 to $17.
