After the 2013 Free Press Summer Festival headliners leaked Wednesday night, this morning the festival sent out an email with a few dozen more names, including many local performers.

Also headed to Eleanor Tinsley Park June 1 and 2, among others, will be reunited country smooth-daddies the Mavericks, lady-swag MC Kitty Pryde, Canadian indie-pop group Half Moon Run, and the Quad City DJs of “C’mon and Ride It (the Train). Yeah.
Houston artists announced this morning — with many FPSF first-timers, it appears — include the Beans, Black Market Syndicate, Infinite Apaches, Orents Stirner, Otenki, Mikey & the Drags, A Sea Es, Uzoy, The Niceguys, Midnight Norma Lane, Nick Greer & the G’s and Rivers, as well as veterans Young Mammals, American Fangs and DJ Sun.
More are no doubt on the way. FPSF is also promising a third main stage this year and a banquet of offerings from some of Houston’s finest eateries, and is seeking artists to create large-scale installations. Tickets are on sale now. See fpsf.com for more information.
