If you had any doubts that the NBA All-Star Game was a major event, you weren’t at the Galleria today.

And if you were at the Galleria, we hope you weren’t crushed.

Massive crowds packed every square inch of the mall today — and the traffic outside was just as horrendous — so officials closed it as of 8:15 p.m.

Mall officials issued a statement saying, “”As always, our primary concern is for the safety and well-being of our shoppers and mall employees. Following discussions with HPD, mall entrances have been closed by the police and mall security.”
