Crawfish starts at 5 p.m. and runs until they sell out. El Big Bad will have a limited number of pre-sale tables in the private dining room, but walk-up is also available on a first-come first-served basis. Crawfish will be sold by the pound and will be at or below market price based on El Big Bad’s cost.

Tip your hat to the country’s best-known leaper, the frog, with this great Leap Year happy hour special. Guests can enjoy a specially created appetizer plate highlighted by jumbo-size frog legs and served with a glass of California Frog’s Leap wine.

Saint Arnold Brewery, 2000 Lyons
Craft beer fans leap at the chance to hunt for Saint Arnold’s latest editions of its Divine Reserve Series, so it’s only fitting that the brewery has set the release date for its Divine Reserve No. 16 on leap day. Consistent with the style, this Adambier is a full-bodied beer. The use of Rauchmalt contributes a smoked wood aroma. It’s best enjoyed at 50 degrees to 55 degrees; a subtle Noble hop aroma and a slight caramel character become more prominent as the beer warms up, and the smoked malt adds a layer of complexity. Saint Arnold Divine Reserve No. 16’s moderately high bitterness is balanced nicely by its residual malty sweetness. It’s a beer that will age nicely for those who enjoy cellaring Divine Reserves.
