The Houston Astros were able to defeat the Shohei Ohtani-led Dodgers behind Peter Lamberts’ seven scoreless innings pitched in a tight 2-1 ballgame. The lone run came at the top of the eighth inning when Astros closer Bryan King gave up an RBI-single to the former Astro right-fielder, Kyle Tucker. Shohei Ohtani gave up both runs scored by the Astros thanks to home runs by both Christian Walker and Braden Shewmake. The win Tuesday night marked number 15 for the struggling ‘Stros, who still sit fourth in the American League West standings despite it. The Astros will have one more game against the Dodgers on Wednesday before hitting the road to take on the Cincinnati Reds.
