Juneteenth Celebration at Savoy
Savoy, 4402 Emancipation, is celebrating Juneteenth with a week of events, including community brunches, cowboy nights, family festivities, live entertainment and Father’s Day programming. Highlights include the Official Juneteenth Celebration on Thursday, the Juneteenth Family Festival and Afterparty on Friday and an all-day brunch and day party on Saturday, with specialty cocktails, themed menus and entertainment running throughout the week.
Juneteenth Cocktail Menu at The Spot
The Spot, 4709 Emancipation, is celebrating Juneteenth with a limited-time cocktail menu spotlighting Black-owned spirits and brands. Featured drinks include the Emancipation Ave made with SirDavis American Whisky, the Freedom Fizz with GO3 Vodka, the Liberation Lemonade and the Southern Soul Sip with Chicas Divertidas Tequila, each created to honor the holiday and Houston’s deep ties to its history.

Tuesday Paella Night at Savoir
Savoir, 1344 Yale, launches its weekly Tuesday Paella Night featuring three versions of the classic Spanish rice dish. Guests can choose from Paella Valenciana with pork, chicken and seafood for $75 for two, a seafood paella with fish, shellfish and mussels for $65 for two, or a vegetarian option featuring seasonal vegetables and herbs.

Clos Apalta Wine Dinner at Hugo’s
Hugo’s, 1600 Westheimer, will host a Clos Apalta Wine Dinner, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m. followed by a seated dinner at 6:30 p.m. Priced at $130 per person plus tax and gratuity, the four-course dinner pairs wines from the acclaimed Chilean producer with dishes including wood-grilled octopus, a duck confit taco, braised beef cheeks with mole negro and a mango-caramel dessert.
Amarás Mezcal Dinner at Zaranda
Zaranda, 1550 Lamar, hosts an Amarás Mezcal Dinner, with a 6 p.m. reception followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $135 per person plus tax and gratuity and include pairings with dishes such as soft-shell oysters, a soft-shell crab taco, lamb chops and mezcal-white chocolate mousse for dessert.

Houston Chef Series: “A Night at the Theater” at King Ranch Texas Kitchen
Landry’s Signature Group continues its 2026 Houston Chef Series, “A Night at the Theater” – a multi-week dinner series pairing five-course chef-driven menus with classic film themes and cocktail or wine pairings at participating restaurants across Houston. This week features Erick Bocanegra at King Ranch Texas Kitchen, beginning at 7 p.m. and priced at $125 per person.

Juneteenth Fish Fry at Kamp
Celebrate Juneteenth with a fish fry at Kamp, 6025 Westheimer, beginning at 4 p.m. The event features fish plates, drinks and live entertainment, with free admission until 7 p.m. for guests who register in advance. General admission starts at $10, with VIP and 2-for-1 ticket options also available.
Juneteenth Specials at Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles
Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles, 3611 Gulf Freeway, celebrates Juneteenth with one-day-only specials including a $20 soul food platter with fried chicken and/or fish, two sides and cornbread, plus a patio crawfish special offering five pounds for $25. The limited-time menu is available while supplies last.

East River hosts the free BLCK Market at Night: 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration from 3 to 9 p.m. Shop Black-owned businesses while enjoying live DJs, food trucks, an African drummer performance by Baba Abiono Ogunrinde, an interactive drum circle and a build-your-own flag activity celebrating culture and self-expression.

Burger Bodega Weekend Special at Kolache Shoppe
The Burger Bodega Chopped Cheese Kolache returns for a limited run through June 28 at participating Kolache Shoppe locations. Available Friday through Sunday in the Heights, Memorial and Pearland and Thursday through Saturday at Greenway, the savory special stuffs chopped burger patties, American cheese, onions, bell pepper and Burger Bodega’s signature Bodega Sauce into fresh kolache dough, with a spicy version available as well.

Hurricane Season Volunteer Opportunities at Houston Food Bank
As hurricane season begins, the Houston Food Bank is seeking volunteers to help assemble disaster relief boxes stocked with shelf-stable food, water and cleaning supplies for future emergency response efforts. Volunteer shifts are available at the Houston Food Bank, 535 Portwall, Monday through Sunday, with morning, afternoon and select evening opportunities. Individuals, families and groups are welcome, and volunteers can also bring donations of nonperishable food items, particularly pull-tab canned goods, during their shift. Registration is available online through the Houston Food Bank.
