Where to Eat, Drink and Watch the World Cup in Houston

The 2026 FIFA World Cup officially kicks off on Thursday, June 11, with Houston serving as one of 16 host cities for the international tournament. While the official FIFA Fan Festival in EaDo will be a hub for fans throughout the summer, restaurants, bars and venues across the city are hosting watch parties of their own — from sprawling patio screenings and downtown fan zones to beachside viewing parties and mariachi-filled match days.

Here’s where to eat, drink and catch the action around Houston during the tournament.

a’Bouzy, 2300 Westheimer

a’Bouzy is hosting World Cup watch parties throughout the tournament, with matches shown on TVs across the restaurant alongside a Matchday Happy Hour menu. Featured games will include sponsor activations tied to Mexico vs. South Africa on June 11, USA vs. Australia on June 19, Netherlands vs. Sweden on June 20 and Norway vs. France on June 26, spotlighting brands including Alma de Jaguar Tequila, Wild Turkey, Ketel One and Miraval Rosé.

Bayou Heights Bier Garten, 3905 Washington 

Fans can catch World Cup matches on multiple large-screen TVs with full sound, plus order the $75 Game Day Board, enjoy $5 lagers and stick around for late-night bites during evening matches. The bar opens daily at 11 a.m. during the tournament.

Chapman & Kirby, 2118 Lamar 

Located one block from the FIFA Fan Festival, the downtown venue will offer wall-to-wall match coverage, live music, DJs, foosball, food vendors and branded activations throughout the tournament, opening at 8 a.m. for matches and staying open through midnight or later. Food offerings include wings, ceviche and smashburgers, with breakfast service available for early matches.

Chardon, 1711 Allen Parkway

Chardon will show every World Cup match during regular business hours and host special watch parties for France’s group stage matches on June 16 and June 26. Expect extra big-screen TVs, French beer, charcuterie, half-price rosé and a $45 bottomless crepe experience for select matches.

Christian’s Tailgate, 1010 Highway 6; 2820 White Oak; 2000 Bagby

The fan favorite sports bar is showing every World Cup match with game day specials including $20 domestic beer buckets, $5 and $7 shots, and team-themed drinks. Daily deals include happy hour from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with $3 margaritas, $1 off seltzers and $3.50 wells and wines, plus $10 lunch specials available every day. 

Ducky McShweeney’s Pub, 2025 Post Oak 

Already one of Houston’s go-to soccer bars, Ducky McShweeney’s is expected to be a major gathering spot throughout the World Cup, with matches shown across the pub’s televisions and a crowd of dedicated fans creating an atmosphere that rivals the action on the pitch.

Escalante’s Fine Tex-Mex, multiple locations

Escalante’s is showing World Cup matches all summer long at its Woodway, Meyerland, Town & Country, Highland Village and Sugar Land locations, with a special Big Game Menu available in the bar area during matches. Fans can snack on spicy chicken nachos, chile con queso topped with Hatch chiles and more while sipping the Viva Margarita, a swirl of kiwi and strawberry puree blended with the restaurant’s Perfect Margarita. Guests wearing their team’s jersey receive complimentary queso on game days, and when their designated team scores, they’ll get half off a second Viva Margarita. The Sugar Land location will also participate in Sugar Land Town Square’s watch party programming for select matches, with live music and face painting following games.

Feges BBQ, 8217 Long Point

Feges BBQ is kicking off Houston’s summer of soccer with a watch party for Germany vs. Curaçao on Sunday, June 14 beginning at noon. Fans can catch the match with full sound while taking advantage of game-day specials including 50 wings for $50, drink deals and special pricing on beef ribs. Guests who wear a soccer jersey can also score a free dessert and a collectible keychain with dine-in purchase. 

The Finn, 712 Main

The Finn’s World Cup programming includes an Après Futbol Patio Party with Aperol on June 14 from 4 to 8 p.m. and an Agave Afterparty with Espolòn Tequila on June 20. The globally themed events feature specialty cocktails inspired by soccer-loving nations including Mexico, Portugal and Curaçao. 

Flora Mexican Kitchen, 3422 Allen 

This bayouside spot will host a watch party for Mexico vs. South Africa on June 11, featuring mariachi, dancers, specialty cocktails and matches streamed throughout the restaurant and patios, including the massive screen in the main dining room. Flora and sister concept Coppa Osteria will also be hosting watch parties, private events and large group gatherings throughout the tournament season.

Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, multple locations 

Fuzzy’s locations will show World Cup matches throughout the tournament, offering $5 Michelob Ultra drafts and $8 Casamigos margaritas served in limited-edition souvenir cups. Food options include the Honey Chipotle Shrimp Taco ($4.65) and Grilled Chicken Elote Bowl ($9.60) from the new Viva Los Tacos menu. 

Goode Co. Armadillo Palace, 5015 Kirby 

In partnership with Lone Star Beer, Goode Co. Armadillo Palace is turning its sprawling property into a World Cup gathering spot with watch parties, live match broadcasts, food and drink offerings, DJs, live music and family-friendly programming. Fans can catch matches with full audio, check out a custom soccer pitch installation in the Backyard and browse pop-ups from local vendors on select activation dates including June 17, June 20, June 23 and June 29. Goode Co. Taqueria will also broadcast matches throughout the tournament.

Heights Bier Garten, 1433 North Shepherd

Catch the World Cup action on more than 20 TVs and a large outdoor screen. Fans can order the $75 Game Day Board, which feeds up to six and includes tacos, wings, sliders, queso and flatbread, or a half-size version for $40. Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m., and jersey giveaways will take place throughout the tournament. 

Jethro’s Cocktail Lounge, 95 Tuam

The neighborhood hangout plans to air select World Cup matches with TVs and a projector running full sound for a more energetic watch party atmosphere. Specials include $14 cocktails, $20 beer and seltzer buckets, taco pop-ups and rotating food specials, with DJs before and after matches keeping the party going late. 

J-Bar-M Barbecue, 2201 Leeland 

Just steps from the FIFA Fan Festival in EaDo, the massive indoor-outdoor smokehouse will show matches across multiple oversized screens, including a 179-inch LED display on its covered patio. The Michelin-recommended spot is also running World Cup drink specials including $5 margaritas and $16 mimosa buckets throughout the tournament

Kirby Ice House, 3333 Eastside; 1015 Gessner; 1421 North Loop West; 1700 Lake Robbins

With giant outdoor screens, dozens of televisions and sprawling patios, Kirby Ice House is built for major sporting events. All four locations will be showing World Cup matches throughout the tournament, offering plenty of room for groups, rotating food trucks and a wide selection of beer and cocktails. All locations are 21-and-up and dog-friendly. 

Kirkwood, 11720 Katy

Kirkwood is extending its happy hour for the duration of the World Cup, giving fans a comfortable spot to catch afternoon matches in the bar and lounge. Available daily from 1 to 6 p.m., the menu includes $12 Chateaubriand sliders made with prime McLaren Farms tenderloin, $9 snacks like cacio e pepe frittatini, fried oysters and buffalo wings, plus drink specials including $6 draft beers, $7 premium wells and discounted wines by the glass.

Lankford’s The Woodlands, 8800 Six Pines 

The Woodlands location of the famous burger joint plans to stream World Cup matches across every TV in the restaurant throughout the tournament season. Limited-time cocktails include the blue FIFA Freeze with tequila, passionfruit and coconut, plus the cucumber-mint Field Fresh made with vodka and Midori. 

Long Weekend, 2044 East TC Jester

The family-friendly restaurant and bar will show World Cup matches throughout the tournament on more than 20 TVs. Match days feature special burgers served on soccer ball buns, beer specials, soccer-themed pastries and coffee drinks, plus a Soccer Kick Challenge for kids. 

Lucky Strike, multiple locations

Lucky Strike will host World Cup watch parties from Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, July 19, with live match screenings, themed cocktails, commemorative cups, giveaways and food and drink specials running throughout the tournament. Expect a more high-energy sports bar and nightlife atmosphere than a traditional watch party, with bowling, big screens and programming tied to major World Cup matchups across the schedule. 

Mi Luna Tapas Restaurant & Bar, 888 Westheimer

In addition to a World Cup happy hour special, the Montrose tapas favorite will host watch parties for Morocco, Spain, the USA and other top teams, showing matches on flat-screen TVs and a large projector screen. The Morocco-Brazil match on June 13 will be followed by a live flamenco performance.

Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House, 113 6th 

The San Leon oyster house is going all in on this summer’s World Cup action beginning Friday, June 12, with beachfront watch parties throughout the tournament in a newly expanded 3,000-square-foot outdoor viewing area featuring artificial turf, lounge seating, lawn games, ping pong and 16 TVs, including two 150-inch LED screens. The kickoff party starts at 8 p.m. and includes drink specials, giveaways and a taco pop-up from Chef Machete alongside Pier 6’s oysters, seafood towers and coastal favorites. Pitch Live at The Ranch, 813 Saint Emanuel 

Operating daily from June 11 through July 19, Pitch Live transforms the former Warehouse Live venue into a large-scale World Cup entertainment destination. Created by Ben Berg, Army Sadeghi and Houston soccer legend Brian Ching, the venue will feature multiple viewing areas, bars, dining concepts, DJs, nightlife programming and a massive outdoor screen just steps from the FIFA Fan Festival. Grammy-winning artist and producer Diplo will perform in Houston on June 11 as part of the opening day festivities.

RESET Rooftop Lounge, 606 Dennis

The Midtown hotspot will show World Cup matches throughout the tournament with FIFA-themed activations, official merchandise and featured pours from Don Julio 1942, Casamigos and Buchanan’s. Happy hour runs Wednesday through Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. with drink specials including $5 beers, $8 cocktails and $20 beer buckets. Guests can also take advantage of complimentary one-hour open bars during select match windows on June 14, June 17, June 20, June 26 and July 4.

The San Luis Resort, 5222 Seawall

 The San Luis Resort is turning match days into a beachside getaway with World Cup-themed programming throughout summer 2026. Resort guests can access the Fan Zone Lounge for premium match viewing, cocktail specials, curated bites and activations from brands including Michelob Ultra, Stella Artois and NÜTRL during home matches. Family-friendly activities such as face painting, arts and crafts and soccer-themed programming will run throughout the season.

The Shop Club, 13150 Breton Ridge 

The Shop Club will host World Cup watch parties July 9 through 11, showing matches on TVs throughout the venue and a massive outdoor screen. Inflatable soccer games and family-friendly activities add to the atmosphere, with tickets starting at $48.

Starduster Lounge, 3921 North Main

The Heights bar and lounge will show FIFA World Cup matches beginning June 11. During games, guests wearing a soccer jersey can get 50 percent off Ranch Waters, and Boiler Maker Buckets include five beers plus a complimentary round of mixed shots.

State Fare Kitchen & Bar, 1900 Hughes Landing 

In The Woodlands, State Fare will show World Cup matches throughout the tournament while offering all-day happy hour and game-day food specials, from $1 Hot Honey Chicken Wings and $1 Gulf Oysters to $5 Smoked Chicken Nachos.

Twin Peaks, multiple locations

Twin Peaks will show FIFA World Cup matches throughout the summer with plenty of TVs, game-day drink specials and a nationwide “Go for Goal Giveaway” sweepstakes tied to select U.S. host cities. Specials include Smash Burger Sliders, spicy margaritas, mix-and-match beer buckets and more.

Trill Burgers, 3607 South Shepherd, 6810 Louetta, 20220 Fort Bend Parkway

Ahead of Curaçao’s World Cup match against Germany in Houston, Trill Burgers is teaming up with Curaçao native and Hall of Famer Andruw Jones on a limited-time combo available June 13 and 14. The meal includes a burger, fries and a blue-colored “Blue Wave” Trill Lemonade served in a commemorative box, with a portion of proceeds benefiting Jones’ AJ25 Foundation.

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux, 21930 Kuykendahl, 25730 Northwest Freeway 

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux is turning its Spring and Cypress locations into World Cup headquarters this summer with Team USA watch parties, themed giveaways, specialty cocktails and limited-time menu items. Fans can also earn loyalty rewards throughout the tournament while catching matches on the sports bar’s wall-to-wall televisions. 

Winnie’s, 3622 Main

With a prime location next to the Ensemble/HCC METRORail stop, the New Orleans-inspired bar and sandwich shop will be showing all FIFA World Cup matches throughout the tournament alongside its lineup of po-boys, burgers, frozen drinks, cocktails and local draft beer.
