Arnaldo Richardsโ€™ Picos, 3601 Kirby, will launch a Farewell Dinner Series on Thursday, June 18 ahead of its planned August 30 closure in Upper Kirby (the restaurant is actively searching for a new home in Houston). Held every three weeks with seatings at 6 and 8 p.m., the $85 multi-course dinners will spotlight regional Mexican cuisine, with an optional $45 wine and spirits pairing and dishes including crispy pork belly carnitas, cochinita pibil salbutes and rib eye with roasted bone marrow.ย

Pitmaster Greg Gatlin and DJ Big Reeks will host the Waxaholics x Gatlin’s BBQ | Juneteenth H-Town Kickback Celebration on Friday, June 19 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Kulture, 701 Avenida De Las Americas. The event features barbecue and DJ beats alongside cocktails from black-owned liquor brands and live entertainment in a backyard cookout-style setting. Tickets are $50 include a barbecue plate and two drinks, with limited availability.

The Finn, 712 Main, will host its Agave Afterparty with Espolรฒn Tequila: Around the World in Tequila on Saturday, June 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. The event features agave-based cocktails inspired by destinations around the world, including classic margaritas, sangrias, caipirinhas and Blue Lagoons, with no cover charge required to attend.ย

Potente, 1515 Texas, will host The Lounge Series: Spirits & Sports on Wednesday, June 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The $125 dinner pairs five globally inspired courses with Angelโ€™s Envy bourbon and cocktails while international soccer matches play live in the lounge.

On Friday, June 26, HiFi at The Finn, 712 Main, will host Pairings & Pressings with Mi Campo Tequila, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets start at $59.75 and include two Mi Campo tequila cocktails paired with two curated appetizers, all set to a vinyl soundtrack inspired by Spain in the venue’s listening lounge.
