See if you can spot the winner of the prestigious Long prize, which includes a $10,000 cash award, at this years eagerly anticipated 2010-2011 Core Exhibition. While the show is made up of works by the 12 Core Program Fellows, only second-year fellows are eligible for the Long prize, which means its down to artists Nick Barbee, Steffani Jemison, Julie Ann Nagle and Kelly Sears. While these fellows arent household names at least not yet past Long prize winners have gone on to highly successful careers. Theres an opening reception, with each of the Core fellows in attendance, at 6 p.m. on February 25.
