The Houston Center for Photography has chosen the art for its “29th Annual Juried Membership Exhibition.” The photographs are by 30 artists selected by juror Ariel Shangberg, the executive director of The Center for Photography at Woodstock. “The chosen photographs have seduced me,” says Shangberg via press materials. There’s an opening reception 5:30 to 8 p.m. July 8. Regular viewing hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursdays.
