The twisted tale of Ralphie Parker and his unrelenting quest for a BB gun is back in the now annual Texas Repertory Theatre production of A Christmas Story. Of course, this is no ordinary BB gun that Ralphie wants; itยs a Red Ryder 200-shot carbine action range model air rifle with a built-in compass and clock. (No wonder the kidยs going bonkers trying to finagle one.) Everyoneยs sure Ralphie will shoot his eye out if he gets the gun, so it seems the poor kid is going to be denied his 2nd Amendment rights for at least one more year. This offbeat take on Christmas was one of the Texas Repertory Theatreยs most popular shows last season, and itยs sure to be just as popular this year. 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays. Through December 28. For information, call 281-583-7573 or visit www.texreptheatre.org. $17.50 to $35.
