Don’t wait until tomorrow to see the Stage Right production of the family musical Annie, which boasts such songs as “It’s a Hard Knock Life,” “Easy Street” and, of course, the show’s signature, “Tomorrow.” Artistic Director Carolyn Wong says Annie was an easy choice for the group. “We wanted something uplifting. We were looking for a feel-good musical, and we couldn’t think of a better one than Annie.” Casting the show was a little more difficult. So many talented children turned up for the auditions, the director finally decided to double-cast all the kids’ speaking roles, not just Annie (Kaylie King and Hope Karris share the part). 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. Sundays. Through August 8. Crighton Theatre, 234 North Main, Conroe. For information, call 936-441-7469 or visit www.crightontheatre.org. $12 to $17.

Fridays-Sundays. Starts: July 23. Continues through Aug. 8, 2010
