Welcome to Paradise ย brothers Primo and Secondoยs Italian restaurant in Big Night. Primo is an excellent chef, but heยs determined to serve only authentic cuisine and refuses to serve up typical pseudo-Italian fare such as spaghetti and meatballs. That makes him a very lonely chef as well, as droves of customers pass Paradise on their way to the more commercial, Americanized restaurant down the street. Finally, Paradise is on the verge of closing and the brothers plan a gourmet feast, one last-ditch effort to attract customers. The evening doesnยt go quite as planned; Paradiseยs big night dissolves into a food orgy, with the invited guests overwhelmed by Primoยs endless offerings of scrumptious Italian delicacies.
Big Nightยs cast is stellar. Monkยs Tony Shalhoub is Primo, while Stanley Tucci is Secondo. The supporting cast includes Ian Holm, Isabella Rossellini, Campbell Scott and Minnie Driver.
