Saturday, April 4, 18 Hands Gallery is opening ยClay Across Texas: San Antonio,ย an exhibit by three Alamo city artists. In press materials, Karen Cruce, co-curator of the show and co-founder of the gallery, says each of the artists is bringing something completely new to the gallery. ยSusan Raineยs large figurative sculpture, Linda Nowellยs extraordinary carved tree surfaces and Stewart Martinยs naked raku vessels are all new visual adventures for us,ย she says.
