On Monday, we posted a rather favorable review by Jim Tommaney of Playhouse 1960’s latest production, Three Murders and It’s Only Monday. Sure, the overblown plot and overblown characters were probably a little much, but hey, this is a spoof of the mystery genre, and we thought it worked.
DKaste disagreed with our assessment:
This was the worst play I have ever seen. High schools do a better job.
Ouch.
Reader rrwhi took it in a wholly different direction altogether:
Perhaps Cook’s next opus could be titled “Three HPD killings and it is only noon, Monday”.
Double ouch.
