Malinda L. Beckham directs the Theatre Southwest production of Ira Levin’s Critic’s Choice. The clever comedy starts when novice writer Angela Ballantine writes a play against the advice of her theater critic husband Parker. As Parker suspected it would, the play stinks, but Angela manages to get it produced on Broadway, leaving Parker in a bind โ€” should he review the play honestly and warn his readers, or should he hold his tongue and make his wife happy?

Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sun., March 3, 3 p.m. Starts: Feb. 22. Continues through March 16, 2013
