If you want to see Diana Ross discuss her rise out of the Detroit projects to become one of the top female entertainers in American history, you may want to bring binoculars (unless you have front row seats). For the first time ever, the love child of soul will take the stage to talk about her life, but if itยs anything like her singing performances, donยt count on her being larger than life. TMZ.com reported Ross was booed by 400,000 fans at the 2008 Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival for refusing to be broadcast on monitors next to the stage. But, hey, sheยs a diva, what did they expect? We doubt sheยll bring this up at todayยs lecture, which will focus on her struggles, triumphs and charity work. 7:30 p.m. Hobby Center, 800 Bagby.
