ยWhat do you do when youยre not sure?ย That question is at the heart of the Alley Theatreยs new production, Doubt: A Parable. Set in a Catholic school, Doubt chronicles the struggle of a nun who suspects a priest of impropriety with a student. The key is the word ยsuspects.ย She has no proof. Examining the idea of protecting students at all costs, even at the expense of an innocent man, or standing by while a crime goes on because you have no proof, Doubt offers no easy answers.
