The Art Museum of Southeast Texas invites children and their families to celebrate Halloween and the Day of the Dead by feasting on fried crickets, decorating sugar skulls and enjoying a variety of exciting art activities and entertainment at “Eat a Bug!” Family Arts Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. Children are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes and participate in the costume contest that will be judged at noon. Live entertainment will also be provided by the Mexican Heritage Society.
