“Extremely Shorts 12: Works 3 Minutes and Under”

See a selection of works by 60-second Scorseses at “Extremely Shorts 12: Works 3 Minutes and Under.” Aurora Picture Show’s annual film festival highlights films that get a point across before most of us can down a Jägerbomb. This year’s winning works (selected by the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston’s Bill Arning) include shorts that tackle the effects of Ike on Galveston, the likelihood of a Frog Jesus, how hair products inspire male bonding and why Xerox copies may be more effective than the most knowledgeable of ghost hunters. It’s all done before you can say, “I’ll have another brewski,” which is perfect, since Saint Arnold Brewing Company is sponsoring the event.
