Six years is a long time to survive the mean streets of contemporary ballet, but the Dominic Walsh Dance Theater isnยt just staying alive, itยs thriving. And to celebrate its big number six birthday, Walsh and his dancers are performing ยFall,ย a fabulous (and free) concert of some of the companyยs more recent favorites. Walshยs own whimsical I Napoletani, set to Neapolitan folk music, is on the bill, along with Lindsey McGillยs Adorning Breath, danced to music by Radiohead and accompanied by video. Eric Morelliยs Funabula, set to Vivaldi, along with other works by Walsh, make for a complete night of progressive ballet that will thrill dance lovers.
