The Dominic Walsh Dance Theater opens its new season with a sampler program of popular performances intended to share its range and expertise with both dedicated and first-time fans. At Fall for Dominic Walsh Dance, things get emotional as young Italian standout Domenico Luciano dances the White Swan duet from Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake and Walsh presents his own solo, The Dying Swan. Walsh’s choreographing abilities take center stage with excerpts from the sensual Romeo & Juliet; Czech choreographer Vaclav Kunes’s fraught duet Small Hour will follow, and finally, things take a turn for the whimsical with I Napoletani, a jovial piece set in a Naples kitchen and starring Luciano and much-lauded ballerina Rachel Meyer. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Miller Outdoor Theatre, 6000 Golf Course Drive. For information, call 281-373-3386 or visit www.milleroutdoortheatre.com. Free.
