What would make a boring wedding interesting? An interruption of the ceremony, à la The Graduate. Radio Music Theatre’s Forever Hold Your Peace follows Pete DuPugh, who believes he is on a mission from God to stop a wedding in the fictional city of Dumpster, Texas. As anyone who’s seen an RMT show starring the singing Fertle family of Dumpster knows, the townsfolk aren’t that bright, but they do have a tendency to stay up on the local news (read: gossip). The town has gathered to celebrate the wedding of Uncle Al and Gwenda Hix, who, among other things, share a love of cigars.

Writer and actor Steve Farrell, who along with Vicki Farrell and Rich Mills plays every part in the play, says Forever “has fun with the very things that would prevent you from wanting to go to a wedding.” We’re guessing a wedding with a crazy crasher will make for a ceremony you’d actually like to attend.
