Not-quite-shocking Queensryche fans all over the world, lead singer
Geoff Tate exited that band this past spring after a month-long row
with his bandmates that included shouting, punching, and spitting
matches at even intervals. Tate’s wife and daughter had been relieved
of their managerial and fan-club duties, with turmoil lurking between
band members as well. While the future of Queensryche’s financial and
recording life is debated in the courts, Tate has set out on his own
with some new players behind him, playing all the Queensryche hits and
new solo material.
