During todayยs Guided Night Hike, when something goes bump in the night, itยs part of the plan. If hiking at night seems a little counterintuitive, thatยs the point ย getting out in the woods when usually nobodyยs around and all the animals are in action mode. Visitors who have gone on the hike before report seeing owls, armadillos and even a bobcat or two (we admit that might be a bigger bump than we care for). The hike covers about a mile of trail over two easy hours; even kids should be able to keep up. 7 p.m. Brazos Bend State Park, 21901 FM 762.
