San Jacinto Day Festival and Battle Reenactment
180th Anniversary of Texas Independence
A pivotal moment in history that defined Texas independence was celebrated Saturday at the San Jacinto Battleground. The festival and reenactment was a great interactive way to understand the living conditions of the times. There was something for everyone at the festival ranging from live music to a petting zoo, as well as great food and drinks.
