The Houston and New Orleans Fringe Festivals have come together and given birth to a completely new festival Interstate Fringe. The show, which runs for two days at Frenetic Theater, features four pieces including Yes, Cassandra and Rouge Improv from Houston artists as well as Our Man and The Divine Feminine from New Orleans performers. Yes, Cassandra, presented by Brandy Holmes, asks one simple question: If you could know the moment and circumstances of your death, would you want to? According to myth, Cassandra was a gifted prophet. She accurately foretold her own murder but was helpless to prevent it and went mad. In Our Man, a comedy performed by members of Goat in the Road Productions, two men decide to elect a tennis racket named Ronald Reagan as their president. 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. 5102 Navigation.
