Mahjong Monday at Tiny’s No. 5

Kick off the week with Mahjong, mimosas and a breakfast spread at Tiny’s No. 5, 3636 Rice. Tickets are $60 plus tax and include assorted quiche, a morning cheese board, house sourdough, plus access to a full espresso bar, iced tea and lemonade, with Mahjong sets provided.

El Tesoro Tequila at Caracol

Caracol, 2200 Post Oak, hosts master distiller Jenny Camarena to lead an El Tesoro Tequila dinner, with a 6 p.m. reception and 6:30 seated dinner. The evening includes passed tequila cocktails and a four-course menu with ceviche verde, duck mole with mole cornbread, braised short ribs with roasted carrots and mashed potatoes, and churro espiral for dessert. Each course is paired with a tequila cocktail featuring El Tesoro Blanco, Reposado, Añejo, or Extra Añejo. Tickets are $130 per person plus tax and gratuity.

Marmo x Azumi Dinner at Azumi

Atlas Restaurant Group will host a one-night Italian-Japanese fusion dinner at Azumi, 4444 Westheimer, at 6:30 p.m., featuring a four-course tasting menu from chefs Ilias Gugole of Marmo and Gabriel Guzman of Azumi, plus pairings of wine and sake. Reservations are $150 per person.

Chef’s Cut Series & Weekly DJ Sessions at Julep

Julep, 1919 Washington, hosts its Chef’s Cut series from 6 to 10 p.m., featuring guest chefs creating seasonal flatbreads paired with cocktails while resident DJ Robin Wong of Blood Brothers spins. This week, Michelle Wallace, pitmaster and Top Chef Season 21 contestant, takes the kitchen, with proceeds from each flatbread benefiting the Southern Smoke Foundation.

Spring Soirée at Blackwood Farms

Musaafer will present its annual Spring Soirée at Blackwood Farms, 27144 Rock Island, in Hempstead, featuring an early look at its new spring menu in a chef‑curated dinner with live musical entertainment in multiple outdoor settings. Seating is limited; book via OpenTable.

Vacation by the Glass | Italy at Heights & Co.

Houston Oyster & SeaFest at Autry Park

Shuck your way through oysters and seafood from 15+ Houston restaurants at Autry Park, 3711 Autry Park, with drinks, live music and interactive exhibits rounding out the fest from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tickets start at $40, with higher tiers offering drink tickets or open bar access, and proceeds benefit oyster shell recycling and habitat restoration efforts. 

Wine Fest at Brenner’s on the Bayou

Brenner’s on the Bayou, 1 Birdsall, will host its annual Wine Festival, a French-American Edition, from 1 to 4 p.m. Guests can enjoy curated French and American wines alongside live music and chef-driven bites including beef tenderloin skewers, mini beef Wellingtons, bacon-wrapped quail, smoked wings, charcuterie and a dessert station. Tickets are $150 or $250 for VIP, which includes early access at noon and exclusive wines, plus tax.

Tacos & Tequila Festival at Sam Houston Race Park

The Tacos & Tequila Festival returns to Houston’s Sam Houston Race Park, featuring a full day of 2000s hip-hop and R&B, tacos, tequila and interactive festival experiences. Three 6 Mafia and Fat Joe are the featured headliners; and the fun also includes craft margaritas, tequila tastings, Houston taco vendors, lucha libre wrestling, a chihuahua beauty pageant and art installations. Early bird tickets start at $49.

Greek Easter at Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen

Yiayia’s Greek Kitchen, 2410 Richmond, will celebrate Greek Easter from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a meze-style feast inspired by its matriarch and built for sharing. The menu features Greek and Mediterranean dishes including tzatziki, tyrokafteri, prime ribeye souvlaki, saganaki and dolmades, served in a lively, art-filled space centered around an olive tree.

Sof Hospitality is helping folks indulge in the Passover holiday, with all locations – Októ, Hamsa, Doris and Badolina – serving matzah in the place of bread for the duration of Passover. Hamsa, located in Rice Village, offers two Passover desserts, the Chocoholic and Orange Cake.

Viva Abejas at Toro Toro

Viva Abejas at Toro Toro, 1300 Lamar, runs March 24 through April 22 with a month-long celebration spotlighting the role of bees in the food system, where one in three bites depends on pollination. The limited-time menu highlights bee-pollinated ingredients across dishes like the Viva Tiradito, beef tenderloin with truffle honey and a passionfruit cream cake, plus cocktails including the Honeycomb Carajillo and Margarita Melipona alongside a zero-proof option. Reservations are recommended.
