If youre a music lover, you probably have noticed Jackson Potts II at a few concerts in town its hard to miss him. Hes the 11-year-old walking around the venue taking pictures. Potts has been taking concert and band photographs as long as he can remember. For the past three years, he has been perfecting his craft for different publications and events, all the while studying the art and history behind it. His first solo show, Rock & Roll Portraits, is going up at Catalina Coffee, and musicians featured in the exhibit include The 71s, The Soldier Thread, and Sam Riggs Band.
Theres an opening reception at 7 p.m. at Catalina Coffee (free) and an after-party at 8 p.m. at Warehouse Live with several of the bands seen in the exhibit performing ($10). Through October 2.
