Let’s Fall in Love: The Songs of Harold Arlen

Bayou City Concert Musicals brings us -another in its series of cabaret productions with Let’s Fall in Love: The Songs of Harold Arlen. The genius behind such enduring classics as “Stormy Weather,” “Paper Moon” and “The Devil and the Deep Blue Sea,” Arlen was a master of American popular music. Two of his biggest hits are “Over the Rainbow,” written as part of his score to The -Wizard of Oz, and, of course, “Let’s Fall in Love.” Bayou City Concert Musicals Artistic Director Paul Hope narrates the program, offering up insights on Arlen’s life and career between tunes.
