The theater is for everyone. Nobody knows that better than Deborah Nowinski, founder and artistic director of Dionysus Theatre, a company devoted to breaking down barriers by mixing disabled actors into the cast of the companys family-friendly shows. The award-winning group usually focuses on shows like the sweetly tart Youre a Good Man Charlie Brown. Tonights production is a tad more serious. Love Is a Disability focuses on both the fun and the sorrow of love for the able–bodied and differently-abled. Told in scenes and song, the spirited message shows us the power of love. 7:30 p.m. Thursdays and Saturdays, 3 p.m. Sundays. Through March 6. Jewish Community Center, 5601 South Braeswood.
