The Spanish Inquisition isnยt the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a Broadway musical, but Man of La Mancha manages to pull it off. The storyยs hero, Don Quixote, goes around fighting with imagined foes, bringing justice to the world that exists only inside his head. That the bad guys are actually just some innocent windmills doesnยt make Quixote any less heroic.
