Can’t wait for Avengers: Age of Ultron? No problem; get your dose of comic-book action with Marvel Universe Live! It brings more Marvel characters than ever before together in a live-action performance. More than 25 of them, including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man and Wolverine, will be onstage. The show has a familiar plot. There’s a battle going on over the Cosmic Cube, the glowing blue thing that’s also capable of putting great power into the wrong hands. In Marvel Universe Live!, Thor has shattered it and the pieces are scattered around the globe. His evil brother Loki, however, has a scheme to clone its powers.
In their quest to collect the fragments, “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes” and their allies will encounter some of Marvel’s most famous villains in their way, including Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Red Skull, Madame Hydra and Electro. Expect a whole lot of action, including a swinging Spider-Man, cartwheeling Black Widow, flying Green Goblin and Captain America zooming around on a motorcycle to stop the bad guys. Oh, and explosions, because there have to be explosions.
Parents, take note: Kids ages two and older must have a ticket.
